Today i and my friend dina went to a english documentary film called Framed .It was directed by Cetan Shah ,kartic and leka play the lead roles .It’s the first of a kind for me to see an Indian made english movie.All reviews suggested it’s as a thriller and i am impressed by the review made in ‘The Hindu’ and decided to watch film.I can classify movies as a worth watching and not worth according to my own idea and mood.But after coming out of the movie,i cant tell anything about this movie coz it has a very weak classic thriller storyline which has no logical twist nor the screenplay is different.As the director is from making documentries this style looks different as of me.He used live sound, so much of the time i feel like watching a stage drama which i like a lot.But i feel he doesnt have used the camera well to tell the story.BGM is also not upto the mark,afterall a thriller must have this one !.It has the influence of lot of hollywood thrillers like scream,scarry movie etc., even in dialogues .Is using the word f**k normal in India?I don’t think so

The good thing is the star cast.Not everyone acted well,the guy who has the long hair i cant remember his name did exectionally well ,kartic did his job pretty well,leka misses the bus often unwanted facial expressions spoil the mood of the scene.At some times she is great.

Framed-Director really like all of us to look beyond the frames ,not even showing a single thrilling moment

So 2 stars for this movie
